Text recognition runs on the phone — Devanagari and Latin — and the sentences worth remembering become cards.
The blank is the point
Every card carries the exact sentence it came from, so you can always check it against the book.
It comes back before you forget
Wrong, and it returns in ten minutes. Right, and the gap widens: a day, three, a week, then longer.
About Halo Study
The problem
Study tools ask you to upload your material to somebody's server, and then to trust what a language model says about it.
What Halo Study does about it
Your own material, on your own device. It reads what you give it and works extractively — what it shows you comes out of your document rather than out of a model's imagination, which is the difference between a revision aid and a confident stranger.
Where it stands
Beta, Android first. The offline tier works everywhere; a local desktop model and an online tier are the two steps after it.
