A keyboard that helps you write and never records what you type.
Halo Keyboard replaces your phone keyboard and can rewrite, shorten, translate or fix the tone of what you are typing, wherever you are typing it. It works with no account. There is deliberately nowhere in its design to store the words you type — a keyboard that shipped what people typed would be a keylogger, so the storage for it simply does not exist.

The problem
A keyboard sees everything you type — messages, passwords typed into the wrong field, your address, a diagnosis. Most of them are attached to an advertising business.
What Halo Keyboard does about it
It helps you write, and there is nowhere in it to store what you typed. Not a setting that can be switched off: there is deliberately no field in the schema to put a word in.
What you get
Stickers, a settings panel that explains each toggle, and on-device translation through ML Kit — the translation happens on the phone, so the text does not leave it to be translated.

Halo Keyboard — common questions
- Does Halo Keyboard record what I type?
- No. There is deliberately nowhere in its design to store typed words — only anonymous usage counters. A keyboard that shipped what people typed would be a keylogger, so it is prevented by the shape of the system rather than by policy.
- Do I need an account?
- No. Halo Keyboard works fully with no account and does not require any other app.
